Directory Submission
There are thousands of directories you can submit a site to. Unfortunately, most of these directories have only a few visitors, most of which are webmasters who have sites indexed by them. As part of Scott Salwolke's search engine placement management, he'll hand submit your site to directories that have definite value.
These services begin by submitting your site to the DMOZ directory if it's not already there. Salwolke also submits to smaller directories, which allow for the use of anchor text. Finally, he'll look for directories related to your field, such as real estate directories. Google in particular has negated the importance of many directories by lowering their PageRank, but we focus on the directories that still have some benefit. Many of these directories provide one way text links to your site. These are directories that have proven to have helped with keyword rankings, that have driven traffic to sites or that are indexed regularly by the search engines. They are also directories that are professional looking and have a specific format. That aren't simply a list of web sites.
In submitting to these directories we find the most appropriate category to list your site and provide a detailed description of your business. We also alternate the anchor text so that all of your listing aren't the same.
As with all of our work, we can supply a client with a complete list of directories we've submitted their site to.
